Service & maintenance software for every medical & dental equipment category
Servatio supports warranty tracking, preventive maintenance and service contracts across every common dental and medical equipment category — with OEM defaults pre-loaded.
Dental and medical autoclaves require strict preventive maintenance under ISO 17665 (sterilization validation), RKI/KRINKO (DE) and equivalent regulations. Servatio tracks cycle counts, validation certificates and gasket replacements per unit.
Dental compressors are pressure vessels requiring statutory inspection (DL 90/2003 in Portugal, INAIL in Italy, BetrSichV in Germany) plus regular filter and seal changes. PM is hours-based, not calendar.
Cone Beam CT (CBCT) and panoramic imaging units fall under the Basic Safety Standards Directive (2013/59/Euratom in EU) requiring quarterly QA with calibration phantoms. Service contracts are essential.
Intra-oral X-ray sensors (digital and PSP) require periodic QA, cable inspection and detector recalibration. Compliance under BSS Directive applies.
Intraoral scanners (TRIOS, Primescan, iTero, Medit) couple hardware to software subscriptions — both need tracking. Tips and cables are common service items.
Dental treatment centers (chairs) have 15-20 year service lives — upholstery, hydraulics, suction filters and arm tension drift over time. The biggest revenue stream per customer.
Dental handpieces and surgical motors fail on cycle counts, not calendar months. Bearing wear and coupler thread fatigue are the dominant failure modes.
Ultrasonic scalers (Piezon, Newtron, Varios) and air-polishers (AIRFLOW) need O-ring kits annually, tip tracking (consumable but warranty-linked) and handpiece replacement after wear.
Curing lights (LED) have 5-year typical service lives. Light output drops over time — annual verification with a radiometer is industry best-practice.
Air polishers (AIRFLOW, Prophy Master) require regular O-ring service, powder chamber checks and tip replacement. High consumable volume per active unit.
